A coordinated 11kV overhead distribution supply package covering poles, conductors, insulators, line fittings, protection, transformers, earthing and project delivery materials.
What equipment is required for an 11kV overhead distribution line project?
A typical 11kV project needs poles and crossarms, phase conductors or ABC, pin/post/strain insulators, suspension and dead-end fittings, connectors, fuse cutouts, surge arresters, switching equipment, distribution transformers, earthing materials and project-coded packing. Final quantities and ratings follow the approved pole schedule, single-line diagram and utility specification.
TYPICAL SYSTEM BASIS
11kV starting point.
The following values organize the first technical review. They do not replace the utility specification.
Nominal system
11kV
Typical highest equipment voltage
12kV
Frequency
50Hz or 60Hz
Conductor system
Bare conductor or ABC
Structure basis
Approved pole schedule
Final selection
Project and utility specification
COORDINATED SUPPLY PACKAGE
Products matched as one line system.
Every group is checked against the same structures, conductors, insulation, equipment interfaces and approved project codes.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Where this package is used.
01Rural electrification and village distribution
02Urban and industrial distribution feeders
03Network extension and rehabilitation
04Pole-mounted transformer connections
05ABC and bare-conductor distribution systems
TECHNICAL COORDINATION
Interfaces to close before final quotation.
01
Match conductor diameter and rated tensile strength to clamps, dead ends, joints and dampers.
02
Match insulator creepage, mechanical class and pole-top geometry to the environment and utility drawing.
03
Confirm transformer ratio, vector group, impedance and accessories separately from the line-material list.
04
Separate tangent, angle, dead-end, terminal and transformer structures before calculating kits.
RFQ INPUTS
Information the buyer should provide.
Unknown fields may be marked “to be confirmed,” but they should remain visible in the clarification list.
01Single-line diagram and nominal voltage
02Pole schedule and structure drawings
03Conductor type, size and ruling span
04Insulation and pollution requirements
05Transformer, switch and protection ratings
06Earthing arrangement
07Applicable standard or utility specification
08Quantities, destination and required delivery schedule
Yes. KOVYEL can normalize item names, separate structure kits and issue a technical clarification list. Final ratings and quantities still require approved project information.
Can bare conductor and ABC equipment be included in one project?
Yes when the approved design uses both systems, but clamps, connectors, insulation and terminations must be separated by conductor construction and size.
Are poles and transformers included?
They can be included in the coordinated supply package when drawings, ratings, quantities and destination requirements are provided.
